This talk is a special one - falling on International Permaculture Day. Come along and hear Steve Wood talk about his passion for gardening and his journey into Permaculture.
You owe it to yourself and your family to have the best tasting and nutritious food on your table; and providing it from your own garden isn't that difficult if you know what to do. And why not look at how you and your garden can have a positive connection with the environment and others?
Steve is a highly experienced horticulturalist and nursery manager (with over 40 years in the industry), specialising in the role of native plants and sustainable food production.
His business, Woods Cottage Nursery, specialises in production and wholesaling of a range of water plants; including native and edible plants.
Steve's property in the Perth hills has a productive garden & orchard, chickens and goats! He passionate about growing organically and eating healthy, local produce.
Steve has developed a significant media profile through his articulate and enthusiastic appearances on television and radio. Steve is a senior presenter in the Forever Project/Great Gardens team and an ABC radio presenter, you can watch him on TV with the Garden Gurus.
He has a wealth of gardening experience and knowledge, and loves to share with people in an engaging and informative way - we are really excited he is coming to Green Life Soil Co.
Steve has worked with Charles Otway (Terra Perma) on his Permaculture journey.
